Black background

I did not get completely satisfied with the photos of the Bulge diorama I took with a white background, so I have taken some more with a black one. After some playing in Photoshop to adjust contrast, sharpness and so on here is the result.

No quedé completamente satisfecho de las fotos del diorama del muñeco de nive que hice con fondo blanco así que he probado con el fondo negro. Después de un poco de retoque con Photoshop (contraste, nitidez...) éste es el resultado

SU-100 (I)

The Spanish modelling forum PanzerNet is running a group build on the Soviet T-34 tank and derivatives. My contribution to this group is a SU-100 tank destroyer. The model is by Dragon (ref 6415) and I am finding it not as good as other recent models I have built from this maker (Panzer IV G, M4(105)...). Too prominent mould seams, so-so fitting, imprecise instructions... Well, nothing that some modelling work cannot fix. Maybe we are spoiled by the superb quality of many of the kit released nowadays.

El foro de modelismo PanzerNet está llevando a cabo un grupo de construcción sobre el tanque soviético T-34 y familia, Mi aportación al grupo va a ser un cazacarros SU-100. La maqueta es de Dragon (ref. 6415) y me está dando algún que otro problemilla, no me parece tan fina como las otras dos de esta marca que acabo de terminar (Panzer IV G y M4(105)). Algunas marcas del molde son demasiado prominentes, el encaje en algunas zonas es regular, instrucciones confusas... Bueno, en realidad nada que un poco de trabajo extra no pueda solucionar. Quizá la excelente calidad de algunas de las maquetas que salen a la mercado en los últimos tiempos nos estén echando a perder...

Bulge - Final

I call this done. I am quite happy with the result. I am satisfied with the figures (they do not seem mine). Some aspect could be improved, but, overall, not bad. Next please.

La doy por acabada. En general estoy bastante satisfecho con el resultado. Las figuras han quedado bastante bien (no parecen mías). Hay algún aspecto mejorable, pero creo que no ha quedad mal. Ahora a por la siguiente:

Finally I got issue 44 of the British magazine "Military Illustrated Modeller" with my "Night Shift" article inside. The article deals with the SdKfz 234/4 "IR" and sWS "Uhu" models. Great layout.

Por fin acaba de caer en mis manos el número 44 de la revista británica "Military Illustrated Modeller" que contiene my artículo "Night Shift" con el SdKfz 234/4 "IR" en el sWS "Uhu". Excelente maquetación. Me ha gustado el resultado.

Moreover, my SdKfz 234/3 has just been published in vol. 20 of the  Japanese magazine "Scale Model Fan". I am very happy with the result.

Además, mi artículo sobre el SdKfz 234/3 ha sido publicado en el número 20 de la revista japonesa "Scale Model Fan". Estoy muy contento con el resultado.
